I had never had much luck using my left hand in water volleyball. No strength, no control. But, I really wanted to relieve my right elbow this morning so I concentrated on using my left hand and really at the end of the two hours, it was really stepping up. I think a couple more sessions of concentrating on using it will make it a winner. And then when my right arm gets well, I'll be an Ambidextrous Powerhouse!!!

I've left the arm brace on but it was so soggy after volleyball. I looked on the Target website to see what they had in store and, they absolutely do have a couple of different ones in stock. $19 is the cheapest. I can get two for $9 at Amazon. Amazon wins. I'll deal with soggy until Monday when Amazon delivers.

The Mariner game last night was the first under new management. And, I have to say, it made a difference in how the game felt. It was kind of weird. But, they were losing, as usual, and I was sleepy so I turned it off and went to sleep. And they came from behind (4 runs behind) and won it in a walk off in the 10th - so drama. Which I watched this morning. Fuck. If they turn it around and and start winning, I'll have to fork over another $150 for TV and also turn into one of those fair weather fans that I have spent so many years mocking. Sigh.

Elbow coffee was a bit boring today - not that it is ever thrilling - but good to see everyone and touch base.

The Mariner game is this afternoon and I'll be watching but likely mostly on mute. And knitting.

A perfect way to spend a cool, rainy day. We're going to snap back to Summer by the end of next week so I am going to be extra appreciative of these last few cozy days.

At this rate, I'm going to have to give you one of my left-handed pencils.
