susandennisOne of my previously favorite volleyball people said something to me directly that was both condescending and snotty. This is the same guy whose email I fixed and who barely even said thank you. He is officially no longer one of my favorite volleyball people. I am trying not to let what he said ruin my day. I think I can swing that. Thoughtless, mean people don't get a one paragraph vent here and nothing more.
My bed tracks my sleep. My watch tracks my sleep. Usually the bed thinks I sleep better than the watch thinks. BUT lately, the bed says I am not sleeping well at all. The watch thinks I'm sleeping my normal sleep and it's fine. I am very close to unplugging the bed. I may wait until the new watch comes and then decide.
Today is house cleaner day. She comes at 1:30 and spends an hour dusting, vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom and wiping down the kitchen and taking out the trash. It's all I need/want done. It's perfect. I think when she comes today, I'll go to Safeway. Myrna probably is ready for a Safeway run, too. And I have an Amazon return.
Last week, I got some of my very favorite Costco cupcakes. I've loved them for years. They don't even have them that often any more so it's been a long while. They are huge. So I take the paper off, freeze them, cut them in half and then put them back into the freezer where I take one out when the spirit calls. Except. Turns out, my cake desires have moved on. The buttercream frosting is too much and the cake bit is meh. I think I'm over Costco cupcakes.
But, I'm in love with the Safeway Vanilla Square cake. It has a much lighter frosting and the cake is light and delicate. It is twice as expensive but also twice as delicious. It also cuts up more handily and thaws out more quickly. I think it's one they usually have on hand in the bakery. I'll find out today.
It's just now starting to rain. This is the last good day for a while. It goes back up to sunny and 70's and 80's tomorrow for the foreseeable. Way past Labor Day which should be against the law. Grumble grumble.
I added three dolls yesterday and three more left before I even got the last one done last night.
