I could not find the spare tension rod but I was not even finished looking when I spied the one holding the curtains over the door. I don't like them but they are useful. Now that Summer is over, there will be very little, if any sun/glare coming in they are not even useful! So They came down and I was able to install the rod high-ish up in the storage space! I moved a bunch of stuff from the closet into there and now my closet has so much breathing room!

I still need to go through those storage room bags and toss but, there's plenty of room in there and I can get to most everything easily so that knocks a giant hole in my motivation. Some day.

But, now I have a lovely closet and all the clothes are clean.

My friend and volleyball buddy, Steve, just brought me two cukes from his peapatch. His cukes are small and so tender and delicious. I keep a vat of refrigerator pickle brine in the fridge with cuke and onion slices. And it was getting low... I just added the new ones and YUM!

One of the snacks I like to give the kids is english cucumbers sliced and seasoned with rice vinegar, garlic powder, and thyme. They wouldn't eat them at first, but it's growing on them. I try to sneak in more vegetables into their diets.
