susandennisMonday night, I had a horrible sleep and woke up broken.
Last night I had a marvelous sleep. It was long and it was solid. And I woke up fine and dandy. So whew!
Plus. UPS says my new phone will arrive Today, September 04 between 9:45 A.M. - 11:45 A.M.
Plus, Plus - there is a beautiful fog outside my window. I'm choosing to consider it the official Summer Is Over Fog.
When I was choosing apartments here at Timber Ridge, I really only considered size and sun. I wanted small and I wanted no direct sun. I honestly did not even think of a bunch of other critical criteria. But even now, considering all the critical criteria, I'm pretty sure I'd pick this exact one. And putting the table and chairs by the window was something I saw in one of the promo photos. So glad I did that. I made a lot of really lucky decisions.
One year ago tomorrow is the day my brother and I came out here for the first time to investigate. It's been a fascinating year.
The house cleaner manager came by yesterday to tell me that my house cleaner could come today instead of yesterday. I told her to skip me this week. She was relieved. I rounded up the trash and took it to the trash room - 2 doors down. And called it good.
Well, I just fell into a rabbit hole of phone cases. I already have one. I do not have the cojones to carry a phone without a case. So I always get a cheap one to have on hand when the new phone gets here. And by then there are more options anyway. This time I spent way more than usual to get the exact case I wanted in the color I wanted. Decision is made. Case will be here tomorrow with a magnetic wallet that will house the card that gets me into places here at Timber Ridge and my mail key.
I do need to get dressed. I've tried to make up the bed several times but Biggie is snuggled into the comforter and I can't justify waking him up. The bed will just go unmade until he's done.
