Everything all at once

susandennisMy new financial advisor sent me alltheboringinfo and asked to call today. I said sure. He called and OMG. I hate to insult him but his fascination is just so boring. He wanted to go into great detail. I wanted bullet points but he's so nice. I let him do his thing with appropriate 'ok' 'makes sense' 'I see' 'yep'.... tossed in with good timing.
Bottom line is he totally heard me when we talked about what I wanted. His recommendations are all income related. He told me how we'd be handling it when I need cash from the accounts on a regular basis. And he's made all the heavy decisions. In the end, it was totally worth it and, really, it was only 20 minutes of boring.
Just as he was wrapping up, I got a text that UPS had delivered my phone!! So I raced down to get it. I stopped to pick up yesterday's mail and discovered that my realtor sent the wrong check to the electric company so I had to photo what they sent and send it on to him. (not a big deal) And then Biggie was up so I could make the bed and then he and Julio wanted lunch.
Then I could open my new phone. It is substantially heavier than my old one and smaller. I am not delighted at either of those. Well, the smaller is kind of nice. I could have gotten the bigger version but didn't want to. Heavier is a bitch. But, whatever.
I tried on the cheap case. It's cheap and does not fit very well but it will be fine until tomorrow. I have another Google USB C to C cable to add to my massive collection and another sim key to lose. All good.
It's now 30 minutes til time to go to lunch so I think I'll just hold off on starting it up. It will be a delightful after lunch project.
