Fridays are the day when the menus for next week come out. It's a joy to plan what to eat as opposed to planning what to shop for for making to eat. For stupid reasons, we have had two weeks of the same menus so today is extra exciting. It's the little things.
I'm in waiting on two money things. I consolidated all of my expenses onto one credit card. It turns out, it was actually easier to keep track of things on two different cards but whatever. I may switch back. Amazon fucked up my subscribe and save order so I'm tracking the return of payment on five different items to the tune of $117.43. I finally got onto chat this morning and got an email outlining their promise to refund in detail. I know they will. I just want them to hurry up so I can cross that off my list.
And there is one final bit - $25K - that has not yet transferred from Ameriprise to Stifel. I wish it would hurry up so I could close Ameriprise out and clean up my books.
Whine whine. Both of these items are clear proof that I am a lady of leisure without enough natural stress so I have to invent some. Boohoo
I might take Myrna and go return some Amazon stuff and then pop into Petco for some cat food can covers (they are the only place that sells what I want but they are also the handiest place). I asked Myrna yesterday if she had any stops she wanted to make. "Oh, no. I just thought it would be fun to go along for the ride." Okdokey!
My new phone continues to delight. The way too expensive case that I got for it is perfect and worth every penny. Yesterday at lunch, John asked me if my new phone could tell distances. So I looked up the number of miles between Issaquah and Belfast. Then he asked me if it could nail it to an address and we quickly found the little house that he and Hazel bought in Belfast when they got married. I thought he was going to tear up. He stared at it for so long. It was sweet. Hazel and John.

"We could have looked happier but it's not bad, I suppose." This was Hazel's reaction...
Ok. Time to get dressed. I have dolls to knit. The shelf.

She looks reasonably happy; he looks a little anxious.
