I slept too late and woke just as dark was leaving so I hustled down to the pool to get a swim in before the sun interrupted me but, turns out, there was no need to rush after all. It is cloudy or foggy and lovely. No sun at all. I managed a good swim anyway.

Then came home and refreshed my UPS tab. My new watch is due here September 10-14. UPS said all weekend that it would be here Tuesday. But, this morning, it says it will be here before 3 today!! After a year of Fitbit Sense, I am very much enjoying my Pixel watch but I'm not enjoying having to charge it 2 or 3 times a day. This new one should last all day which is perfect for me. I don't mind charging every night.

While I was swimming, I was reviewing my finances in my head. I have finally gotten to a point where I understand how much I routinely spend and so need to plan for. And I have a fairly comfortable plan for now and an even better one for after I sell the condo. And then I remembered two large expenses that I forgot to include... County taxes, due at the end of October - $2,500. And estimated income tax. I have no clue whatsoever how much I need to pay, if any. I'm guessing my Timber Ridge deduction will cover any taxes I owe but I could be wrong and I'd love to skip any fines and also skip drawing the IRS's attention to me. I think I may just pay $1,000 and hope that shows good faith and that I'll get it all back next year.

So recalculating... Assuming I've not forgotten anything else, and my monthly health insurance bill (which I won't know until the end of October), I *should* be ok. Well, I'll be fine, regardless but I'll be a lot less stressed once the dominoes all fall.

I did not even realize until last night that the Seahawks game had been a home game. It was great fun to live so close to the action but I have to say that I do NOT miss home Seahawks games one tiny little bit. And it is luxurious to not even know there was one!

Tonight, Myrna and I are going down and dine in the dining room. They have lamb on the menu and always do such a good job with it. Tomorrow is House cleaning day and since there was none last week, this week it's getting pretty needy. There are cat hair tuffs everywhere.

Wednesday night, we have a the Northwest Sound Men's Chorus coming to put on a show. They are an a capella group. I love chorus music and I love a capella. We have a fair number of musical programs here and most are not the least bit interesting but this one, it in my wheelhouse. I'm excited.

Now I need to get dressed.
