Less than a month!
Sep. 11th, 2024 08:11 amThis morning all of my Ameriprise accounts show zero. All my investments have now officially landed in Missouri at Stifel. The process was, as promised by Geoff, easy and seamless. And now it's done. Whew.
Yesterday afternoon, minutes after the house cleaner left, Biggie threw up. (Thankfully, not on the carpet.) I wasn't too worried. He does that occasionally but hasn't for several months. Then last night, he did it again. Now I was worried. Except. 1. It was not a Friday when vet availability becomes and issue and 2. He hopped up and sat next to his food bowl until I fed him and then he ate like normal. This morning, he woke me up like normal, had breakfast like normal, bugged me like normal and had a fight with Julio... like normal. So I'm guessing it was a one off that was just two. Whew. He's now sitting on my arm making this entry delightfully challenging.
It's a lovely, rainy day. There's an old woman walking her dog in the rain. She's got no head covering and is in no hurry. And the dog is happily strolling along behind her. My money says she's a native. I like her style.
I will likely make a trip over to the UPS. My trade in kit for my old phone should arrive today. The sooner I get it packaged and back into the hands of UPS, the sooner I'll get my $430. The one for the watch does not get here until Friday.
Nothing else going on today that I know about now but tonight is the a capella mens chorus concert. It does not start until 7 which is totally reasonable for the men singing. However, 7pm in Timber Ridge time is nearly midnight. I just hope I can stay up that late.
