They are having flu/COVID shots here on the 22nd. But to get an appointment you have to go to the health center after 10 am today and fill out the form. This just annoys the shit out of me. The health center is next to the pool. But, of course, my swim is done before 10 so an extra trip. They are so disorganized down there. Last time I had to do this form filling out thing twice. Then you go on the 22nd for the shots which are also needlessly fussy.

I'm seriously considering just popping over to QFC. Ok, yes. I just looked and I can get an appointment there easily and probably just walk in and Biggie needs new drugs and the vet is just next door. I'm doing that. It's just easier and I'd rather be annoyed at QFC than Timber Ridge if there is a fuck up.

Just sent a note to the vet for more rugs. So probably I'll get it all done Wednesday or Thursday.

I'm spurred on by my reorg projects yesterday and spent most of my swim thinking of other stuff around here that I don't need and/or better places to stash shit to get it out of the way. I had a couple of good ideas that I'll execute today.

There's a condo HOA meeting at 6. The one unit that accepted an offer June 4, finally closed on September 5. They originally asked $689 then dropped the price to $674,950. They sold for $660. That leaves one on the market in the building. I'd be quite ecstatic to get $660. Fuck. I'd be happy with $500.

I have a small load of laundry that will be done by the time I finish getting dressed. So I think I'll do that now.

Yeah, Brooksby has had the occasional COVID vaccination day, with a form that you have to fill out in advance (they put a form in everyone's cubby – one form per apartment, no matter how many people are living there, so if you need two you have to go the the Health Center anyway). So instead, we made online appointments at the nearest CVS (where, in fact, we could probably have just walked in). Done and dusted.
