Finished... for now

susandennisI did the other side of the closet this morning. Now everything has a place or is gone. And, like I did in the condo, I have one shelf with two empty containers. This will be for detritus that accumulates. Rather than leave it out on the counter waiting to make room for it, I can toss it into one of those bins. Keeps things tidy and makes me happy.
And, the sewing machine and table is gone. Myrna said that this morning, early, she saw one of the house keeping women take it away. I'm so glad. I want it to go to someone who wants it.
I am far more delighted to have the space back in both the closet and the living room and, honestly, I'm kind of relieved to not have the sew or no sew decision made for me. I have a little hand held sewer that will do everything I need.
Next up is to clean out the drawers in the little chest by the front door. They have become a catch all and some of that all needs to be disposed of. And then the yarn. Originally, the yarn was all sorted by color and all the skeins looked tidy. Then some of it fell out. Biggie clawed some out. It just got all unorganized and messy looking. I need to fix it. But that means getting snow on the floor and pulling it all out and tidying up each skein and putting it all back.

Date: 2024-09-16 09:29 pm (UTC)Normally it would not be a big deal - but when I am at the gym and doing squats and laying on my back and doing things like 'happy baby' - it will be particularly obvious when the colour of my panties doesn't match the colour of my shorts, ahahahah!
