susandennisWaiting waiting waiting... There is a woman who handles the packages when they come in for the residents. She does a wonderful job. She is on vacation. Her backup is overwhelmed and can only respond with attitude NOT befitting your normal front desk Timber Ridge person. I'm still waiting on a package that arrived Tuesday and one that arrived yesterday. Wonder how old I'll be when I finally see them. I went down on Wednesday to pick up Tuesdays and that's when I got the attitude and no package. "I haven't sorted them yet." Happily, most Amazon deliveries come into a package locker which only smiles and has a little screen that says Thank you!
I'm also waiting on the credit from Google on my watch trade in. I got the phone trade in money which was the big deal but I'm not opposed to receiving the $150 for the watch. Whenever you are ready, Google. And waiting on a $2.30 refund from the app creator of an app I bought that does not do what it promised. This latter is the principle of the thing.
And, of course, still waiting on the lawyer/trustee of my cousin's estate his last promise of funds 'within a few weeks' was also the last we heard from him - on July 2. Sam, the other heir, called a couple of weeks ago, left a message and heard nothing. This time it's my turn so I sent an email quoting the promise and asking for information and $$. He, the lawyer, has proven that he will hold us rea until he no longer wants to and there is, in all practicality, nothing we can do, but wait...
Oh also I'm waiting for my new Dirt Devil to charge but still, of course, the cats have yet to make the mess they make every week that I did not have a vacuum to fix.
BUT none of this is critical or really even inconvenient. The lawyer thing would be annoying but I've already donated so much energy to that idiot, I got no more to give. So, it will all happen when it does. I'm pretty sure.
Nothing hot on the agenda today. I expect the usual lovely stress free day at the cult.
