I skipped swimming and got up at 5 and fed the cats and went back to sleep til 7. Then I got up and made coffee and opened the door to find this:

Coffee in hand, I went down the hall. Her crotch rot was worse and she thought she might have had a reaction to the medication. She said she was going to call the Urgent Care doctor and so have to go back. "But I could get an Uber." I assured her my feelings would be hurt if she replaced me with an Uber. She called while I was there and patiently listed to the recording - hang up and call 911 if this is an emergency, don't bring a gun, this call is being recorded (they should really have a short cut for that - The Usual Crap). Then she got a person and explained the situation and then listened.

And then we got to the part that just made my day... In her small, warm, little old lady voice she asked with all the kindness in the world "Can I expect that call in the next 15 minutes?" I nearly spit out my coffee.

I'm totally using that line from now on.

Anyway, we got dressed while she waited for the call and shortly she came down and said that the lady said there was no waiting if we went now. So we did. Again, a pleasant place to wait with nice people. She got in but then had to wait for labs. For sure not a UTI which is great. She got a stronger prescription (apparently the drug reaction wasn't) and we went off to QFC to get it filled. And we were home by 10:15.

I really really do not mind. I enjoy it. And now we have the rest of the day clear.

This time I remembered to get Wheat Thins and pancake syrup and nori at QFC. My shopping list is cleared! I have a load of laundry in the machine set to go off in an hour so that it will be done and ready after lunch.

I found a cute little series on Netflix last night "Nobody Wants This" and also got in my Jeopardy again on YouTube.

All is good. Shelf. Someone picked up the pink haired one while I was at Myrna's calling Urgent Care this morning. The pink ones always go first.

*I* knew it was Mae West (Final Jeopardy).

Myra is lucky to have you and your posts about her are always smile worthy.

Don't bring a gun????

Not a recorded message we ever hear around Texas. 'We will be suspicious if you do not arrive fully armed' would be more likely.

I really want to hear your small, warm, little old lady voice.
