Two new shows - both ABC/Hulu. Both ridiculously improbable.

And, yet... High Potential is really fun and cute. I've watched two episodes and I can't wait for the next one. Contrived premise. But. Good cast and just engaging.

Doctor Odessey - too stupid to even finish the first episode. I tried. I made it to the 30 minute mark but it was painful and I quit. Bad acting, bad writing, less contrived premise than High Potential but not the least bit watchable.

However, the above is the opinion of someone who's watched every single episode of Grey's Anatomy even though it is contrived and stupid and not written all that well with some ok acting but ridiculous story lines.

I'd say more but I want to watch this week's episode of Grey's before I go to bed.

I've been watching High Potential too. It's silly but I like it so far!

I like High Potential - very Sherlock Holmesian

The cruise ship show - I watched the first episode - it was meh. Mostly I just watched it to see that the actor who played Pacey in Dawson's Creek is no longer the underage high school kid that his teacher had an affair with, LOL. He's gone grey! I probably won't watch again - it wasn't anything exciting.

I need to watch the Disney+ shows before my subscription expires in a month or so!

Yup, we absolutely love High Potential. Kaitlin Olson is always great. Her show The Mick was really fun but only had two seasons. And of course she's on 4,000 episodes of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

We managed to get all the way through Dr. Odyssey, but probably only because our friend was over for her 50th birthday and we were all hung over. Since you didn't get all the way through you may have missed the really dumb plot point where he was patient zero for COVID in the USA.

We love High Potential, too. We made it through the entire episode of Doctor Odyssey, but most likely won't watch another one. Just too meh to bother with. We really liked Beautiful Minds starring Zachary Quinto. That one is the keeper new doc show. ;)
