Oh to be a fly on the wall

susandennisOr, in our case, this morning, a big fat fly on the outside of the window. He sat there for 30 minutes and both cats went nuts.
Then they just sat there, transfixed.
He finally got bored and left and the cats will probably take all day to sleep off the adrenaline rush.
I just killed an hour fucking around with silly stuff on the internet and not. I paid the county real estate tax bill. Ugh. $2,600. For half a year. Next due date is April. PLEASEGOD let that bill be someone else's! Now it's 9. But, I'm dressed and ready for the day. I even emptied the dishwasher and all is put away. We have to go to Safeway today but not til after lunch. And that's about it for the excitement, I think. Which makes for a great day in my book.
Yesterday, 3 dolls came back! They had been gone a while but then, mysteriously, returned. I think Joan took them and returned them and I don't know why and I am not going to ask. They were welcomed into the fold with the rest. The latest bear is still there now after he was added last night. It's pretty much a record for a bear.
