I finally got the Comcast remote hooked to the TV. It turned out I was making it way more complicated than it needed to be. And the DVR is way more simple. No cable card needed. Just a simple box that Comcast would charge me $10 for. So I found one on eBay for $30. If it doesn't work, I'm out $30. If it does... Jeopardy on demand!

Myrna says her Comcast bill is $180. WTF???? She wants me to noodle her out a better deal. The only thing she needs to pay for is her landline. I'm pretty sure her computer has WiFi and if it doesn't for a $1.50, I'll get her an adapter. The wifi is free. She only watches one or two broadcast news shows on TV and wheel of fortune. All this she gets free. She can pay me the $180.

I admitted at lunch that I had only filled out my ballot this morning and then forgot to bring it down to mail. Just now, Myrna was at my door. "give me your ballot and i'll make sure it gets mailed." Kamala and I thank you.

The bed linens have all been changed. The laundry done - 2 loads - one including the cats' quilt. And the dish washer run and then emptied. I'm feeling a top of stuff just now.

Oh and I just realized that my printer can, easily, print on both sides, or not. Well, that's freakin' handy.

That would be wonderful. There is one woman (maybe more) who has several but carries one around in her pocket. If there is one she likes better on the shelf, she swaps it!

I particularly love the cats.

I wish you had a camera trained on the basket so we could see people picking them. How long do they take? Do they pick them up and put them down? Do they look surreptitiously up and down the hall before grabbing one and scuttling off? We'll never know!
