Rainy Monday

susandennisIt's a lovely cool and rainy Monday morning here. I saw last night that much of the country is having a heat wave. I am so grateful that we are not.
Yesterday afternoon, Myrna and I finished a puzzle. It was our first round one and it was interesting and fun. We added in all the pieces and there were two missing. Not surprising for a $4 puzzle from Value Village. Except, we knew to do a floor check and... yep. There were the two pieces. victory.
I have sausages in the freezer. Yesterday, at the store, I thought maybe I'd get some hot dog buns but I didn't want a package of eleventy and decided the one hot dog I wanted wasn't worth it so I passed. Last night I air fried some french fries for dinner. It was enough, really. They came out to hot to eat and then the doorbell rang. It was Martha. She had my ginger cookies which are spectacular. And... she had a hot dog!!
They had been downstairs watching the sea hawks games and, apparently, Food and Beverage put out a bunch of hot dogs for the game. It was DELICIOUS! This is the up side of cult living. Random hot dogs delivered to your door with cookies. I did have her cat all ready so it was perfect.
Martha took this doll.
And left this one that she picked up a few days ago. And I added the bear. They were both there this morning but that was an hour ago so probably they are both gone now.
