Turns out there's a Seahawks game in the stadium tonight. I saw the Seahawk Fan's RV in the parking lot this morning and checked the Qwest Field calendar and sure enough, they are playing a game tonight. Very strange.

I was going to try calling in an order to the new brewery for dinner tonight. It's the first night since they've been open that there hasn't been a Mariner's game. And now I have a Seahawks game for competition. I may give it a try anyway.

I am making minor progress on the pills front. The woman from the doctor's off called to grill me on why I was taking 2 instead of 1 and 'have you been taking this forever'? Er, no. She said she was looking at my chart. Every single time I am in there, this very same woman asks me what medications I am on. I tell her that I am taking nothing except exactly what her doctor has prescribed for me. I'm not entirely clear why my chart isn't entirely clear about what I'm taking and when. BUT, I kept my trap shut and just gave her the information she was looking for and she said she'd fix it with the pharmacy. It all just seems way more complicated than it needs to be. I'm just glad I discovered this discrepancy with days to spare and not at the last minute.

It's hot here again and my attitude about things is reflecting that. I need to make a mantra that the cool will be here soon.

Jake is restless and driving me crazy. Finally he's gone to get first dibs on the end of the chaise. Betty's still back in the fish room with the laundry I did and folded this morning.

I'm reading the greatest novel. Thomas Perry's Nightlife. It's one of those can't put down-ers. But I don't want it to end too soon either. So I'm reading an hour here and then doing stuff and then I get another hour. Next is clean up the kitchen and then I get another hour. I just thought I'd stop here first.
