susandennisThe staff there today is pretty good so rather than watch her sleep for another 4 hours, I asked her if she'd be ok without me for the rest of today and she assured me she would. So I left about 2:30 and got home before daylight ended!!
I've now called all the people who want updates, gotten her denture soaking stuff and good brush, and popped an email off to her money manager guy. She has friends who want to visit. One couple popped in this afternoon at the most inconvenient time and then proceeded to ask me a bunch of questions about her that were not at all appropriate. I was minimally gracious. Why can't people send flowers??? Geesh. Another couple asked about visiting and she said no. One woman I talked to two - who lives here and is really sweet - said she would bring a card and leave it on my shelf for me to take tomorrow. Now we're talking! Myrna would love a card.
Oh well. I fed the cats and got the washing machine ready for the next load.
It's now 4 pm and I think I pretty much have the rest of the day to myself. I hope.
