susandennisThe laundry is all done and put away. The utility room is almost completely sorted. I got interrupted but only have a little more to go.
I got a note from the florist that my flowers were delivered. I called the care place and they said that Myrna was admitted about 11:30 this morning. I hope she is good.
I had lunch with Hazel and John. They are sweet but they are boring without Myrna. And I stopped at the bistro and bought four slices of mushroom quiche for my freezer. And I ordered dinner - steak Oscar. During the 5 day power outage, they fed us for free. Since then, I haven't been here to eat. My meal allowance for the month ends on Tuesday of next week and I've got half of it left so I'm Sally Spendy for the next 5 days. I'm going to have a healthy freezer by next week which makes me very happy.
At my finance guy's suggestion, I am having the CPA review 2022 and 2023 tax returns, in addition to doing 2024. When I meet with him next week, I'm to bring all the goods. 2023 is fairly easy because H&R handed me all the work back in printouts and I only had a couple of things to add. So it's done.
But 2022 is only in PDF's so I need to kill a few trees to get those to paper. Just as I was starting on 2022, my printer announced it wanted more ink. Fuck. I had ordered new cartridges but they won't be arriving until Monday. It would not hurt to wait but I don'twanna. Amazon has nothing for delivery sooner. But, wait! I can get into the car and go get some. I googled prices at places and went to Best Buy where their googled prices turned out to be fictional and their real price was 2x Amazon and they didn't have the extra single black I wanted. So I went about 40 feet to Fred Meyer and paid only about $10 more than Amazon but bird in the hand...
So now I can start the printing and if I stretch it out, maybe it won't be such a BFD.
But, I think I'll take the rest of the day off. Some TV and some knitting. That's what I think.
