Bonny had a good visit with Myrna who was sitting up in a wheelchair. But, she's still in a whole lot of pain that may not be back pain. Her son has come to visit a lot so at least she's not lonely. My flowers were there but still in their packaging. Bonny put them where Myrna could see them and tidied up the room.

She brought a sweater back that had coffee all over it and asked me to run it through the washer (glad to). She's going back on Tuesday. Bonny said I should make her a Christmas elephant so I am and I'll send it with a card.

I do wonder now if she'll ever be back here. Bonny said that she couldn't tell but that she'd have to get a whole lot better than she is now.

I am glad to have a trusted first hand report.

Laundry is done! (I recently found the quick cycle setting on my washer/dryer and it is sooooo quick! And, it seems to clean things perfectly well. Win!)

So grateful for Bonny -- and you.

Even if Myrna can't return to her apartment, could she be transferred to the nursing facility at Timber Ridge (once there's room) since she's a resident there? I would think she has priority over someone from the outside. (Or maybe the son doesn't want that)

Dang. Are they looking into the source of the pain?

You'll take a pic of the Christmas elephant?

It's just so f'd up that you can't even visit her now. Have you had the opportunity to give them the "Ladies who lunch plus john" gift before things started to go downhill?

All I can think to say are snarky things - not about you! Like the reason the flowers you sent are still in their packing is because the son doesn't want to acknowledge you.

I hope Myrna can be out of her pain soon.
