Dear IRS... plz quit fucking with me

So today, on the day of my CPA appointment, I get a check from the IRS for $199.88. It was cut on 12/6/2024 and is labeled tax refund for 12/2022. The 2022 return is the one I had to pay the big fine for so I'm guessing their estimated fine was off by $199.88.

I made a copy for the CPA and cashed it. I'm over the IRS.

I think I'm over lunch with Hazel and John, too. 3 people for lunch screams - hey single looser!! Sit Here!! And there are just too many candidates. Today's episode was a very very old lady with a bad memory and nearly no vision. Regular conversation halted cause she just couldn't follow. And the food was only so so.

My appointment is at 2 and it is now just before 1. Guess I'll go knit the pants of the next doll while I wait.

Well, I'm glad things are better with the IRS. Anytime you get money out of them, cash the damn check immediately!

What a lot has changed since you had your Christmas presents made up:(. I know Myrna's at an advanced age, but she was so vibrant and full of life.
