I woke up at 4 am, got up to pee and got back into bed. I dreamed that I was at some kind of charity event where there was stuff to see around the walls at the venue with tables in the center. I got up to walk around and my hip was killing me. But I had to finish walking around on it. Fuck was it sore. I woke up and it was 6 and for sure my whole leg was killing me.

I keep a One Sentence Each Day For Five Years diary and I have been reminded that this time last year I had a horrible time with a pinched nerve - probably in my back - all down my leg - for months. This felt just like that FUCK! I've now been up for an hour and it is much better with only a hint of a hurt so maybe...

But, of course, my nose is running again. WTF? I did not ask for this for Christmas.

It's the Christmas of candy - mostly chocolate, high end chocolate. Totally wasted on me. I don't mind Hershey's milk chocolate in small doses but, to me, the fancy chocolates are just not worth the calories. When I get up in the morning and check my shelf, there has been a box of fancy chocolates on it every single morning for days. Different kinds. All expensive. From different friends and then, this morning, from TR 'elf on shelf' hahahaha. Clever but no thanks.

It's Wednesday. Laundry day. I don't have much but maybe I'll go ahead so Saturday's load won't be such a bear.

I think I'll go down to the brunch/buffet today. Last night's turkey and stuffing from Safeway was not worth repeating today.

And then the usual knitting. I put two dolls out last night and this morning they were gone.

Oh man, I would totally love the high end chocolate, but then there is the watching the blood sugar thing, sigh. Have a lovely day! Hope the buffet offerings are yummy.

[personal profile] jwg and I regularly exchange high-end chocolate, among other mostly edible or potable things, on gift-giving occasions. This is part of our plan to avoid accumulating Stuff; all the consumables eventually get consumed.
