Like many, I suspect, my week is all fucked up. It does not feel like a Friday at all. But, no biggie. Things will right themselves soon enough.
My back/leg seems better. I'm hoping I dodged that bullet.
I was thinking back to Hazel's issues with her stupid Samsung tablet and realized the problem. She downloads any and all solitaire games and so gets the ones with trashy takeover ads and then clicks. Over and over and over again. She has very limited eye sight and zero technical skills so she gets these horrible WARNING YOUR ARM WILL FALL OFF UNLESS YOU CLICK THIS and wants to save her arm. I think I'm going to talk John into a Play Store Play Pass for her. No ads at all. They are running a 6 months $1 special. That's today's job.
I have a prescription to pick up at Costco but I think I'll wait until Sunday morning for that. Also I need to get some bacon. My Costco membership expires in February and I'm going to let it go at least until the condo sells. The only thing I cannot get anywhere else that I really love is their cooked bacon. So I'll lay in some extra and pop it into the freezer and be good.
My austerity program is working fairly well so far. Amazon is taking a hit but they'll be fine.
Noelle loves to buy flowers and then arrange them in vases for her home and often for mine. She has a lovely touch with flower arranging but, she and I have vastly different tastes in terms of flowers. This last arrangement is also in one of the ugliest vases I've ever laid eyes on. Mostly flowers are an issue here because Julio won't leave them alone. However, this last gift, even he won't touch. I suspect they will also take a long time to die. I love the thought. And I need to focus on that.
It's a dark and cloudy and rainy day. My kind of day and I do appreciate it.
Time to get dressed and go down to the mail room and pick up menus for next week. Friday. It's Friday.
