[SOMEONE FORGOT TO HIT POST YESTERDAY - YIKES! Holidays fuck everything up]

When someone famous dies, he/she dies again with every click. I get a million notifications BREAKING NEWS!! It fills up every news source, every rss feed, even the click bait takes a holiday. So of course, Jimmy Carter has now died a million and a half times.

And, now Linda Lavin - dead, dead again, still dead.

I think the issue is with my news gathering system.

One more week of weird. And then it's back to normal life again. I much prefer normal life. They are fucking with our normal food service again this week. There is only one meal served Tuesday. Another sit down dinner with set menu and convoluted reservation system. I'll pass. Wednesday is another buffet with an unimpressive menu. I think I'll pass on that one as well. It will be nice to get back to a full week of regular meals.

On Friday, I have my 1st annual meeting with my new primary care physician. Also my first use of my new insurance.

This week's project is yarn reorganization. All my dolls and creatures have cut a giant hole into my yarn stash (which is a very good thing) but now the shelves that house it all need to be redone. It will all look much nicer and be easier to see and find the right colors out of what is left. Plus I'll have more room to move stuff around. Some of the non yarn shelves are getting kind of crowded.

Today is also aqua yoga day. Last week I was the only one in the class and it was very cool to get a private lesson. Might be the same today. Last year I do remember it was after New Years before things got properly repopulated.

I'm glad the lavendar/pink hair doll got taken. I really liked her and I felt bad that people overlooked her for like two days or something.

Do they minimize the holiday food situation to give the employees time off? I remember being in food service on Thanksgiving & Christmas Day... and the fights about who had seniority (me) and who didn't have kids (also me).
