susandennisIt stopped snowing in the afternoon yesterday but it never really started raining and never really warmed up so there is snow on the ground and on the drive. And this morning, there's a dude trying to clear the road with a show shovel. It's clearly snow on top of ice, but he's not sliding around. He's getting quite the workout.
I did see one car not make it up the drive this morning. It was an SUV that got halfway up and then back/slid down.
The rest of the roads must be pretty good because the schools aren't closed - just a 2 hour delay. Sorry, kids.
Glad I don't have anywhere I have to or want to go.
I woke up to pee last night and when I got back into bed, my leg was killing me. A totally different kind of pain. So weird. There are vestiges of it lingering this morning. My next PT appointment is Wednesday. This will be on the agenda.
Oh, now shoveler guy has a helper. Still lots left to shovel.
Today, or rather this afternoon, is aqua yoga.
Oh just got the word, no housecleaning services today. And now it is snowing again!
I spent some time this weekend window shopping on the web at a bunch of different stores. Amazon has ruined me for other stores. The shipping times are miserable or they use USPS which is even more miserable since you never know if you'll ever see the goods. And the return policies are hilarious. "We want you to love your purchases but if you do not, returning for exchange or refund is very easy." IF you are happy with paying for the return, not getting your original shipping costs refunded and waiting weeks for the money to be refunded. Nah. No thanks. I'll take a chance if I absolutely love it but I haven't seen anything I absolutely love so nope.
Yikes! GIANT flakes now and the shovelers have retreated. But they did manage to get most of the road cleared.
I just checked the traffic cams in downtown Seattle and they got no snow on the ground or in the air. It doesn't even look like it's raining there. Issaquah for the win!
Ok time to do my exercises and get dressed.
