susandennisMy Physical Therapy appointment was for 8:30 this morning. This is what the outside looks like at 7:30 this morning. I've already seen one car slide down the hill. Cancelling was a good call.
At 5 this morning I heard shoveling. Turns out they were clearing out the bit between the garage doors and the drive. I'll bet they get a lot of complaints about the early morning noise. But, maybe not. I sleep with the window open so maybe if it had been closed, I wouldn't have heard it. I went back to sleep grateful that it wasn't me out there shoveling.
There is one apartment down on the first floor. The guy died last year and it's been empty. The door was a jar yesterday so I looked in and it was clearly set up for temporary overnight stays. A cot and a couple of air beds. I'm guessing that's where the shovelers are sleeping. I do appreciate them.
This is a lovely view. We are not due for any more anything until noon and then it depends on the weather app you look at as to whether it's snow or rain. Oh, it just started raining. Weather. Whew.
I was in the Bistro yesterday looking to spend my meal money and bought a breakfast pastry which I just ate. WAY too sweet. Ugh. It's one they have often and it would be great without the icing but with, ugh. At least I don't have to buy any more of those! My meal month ends on Monday and I still have about $240 to spend. Lunches are $16 and dinners average about $25. I usually eat lunch in the dining room but rarely dinner. They do have lamb chops on the dinner menu this week so I might get those one night. I can order them take out so I don't have to actually go sit in the dining room. Maybe I'll get two orders and freeze one. That still leaves me with a lot of $ to use up. It's a lovely problem to have.
And now it's snowing again and the sun is out. Holey Moley.
