Turns out, it's a blessing

susandennisMyrna's children are now getting friendly with everyone in an effort to offload her stuff. But... they are charging for it. Bonny got some stuff, I don't even know what all and they made her pay $50. Myrna had separated out a bunch of costume jewelry and was planning to sell it for proceeds to the food bank at a sale they had here last week. Ingrid told the kids she was interested in some of that. They held out the bag of it and told her $60. She told them no. They explained she could sell it on eBay. She told them no.
They have tons of money. Their own + now Myrna's. Even split 50/50 it's enough for all of them to live on easily. They already don't work. But, apparently nickel and dimeing Myrna's friends is cool. I hope they have to pay double to get rid of it all.
Bonny was just in there this morning and she said it does not look like they have made any progress. They have 2 more weeks and then they will have to pay for rent for another month. Ha!
I do realize now that their resentment of me is a blessing. I would not want to come anywhere close to that mess and now I don't have to and don't have to even feel guilty about it.
John's nose is bleeding again but, apparently, not badly. "he just panics now at the first drop" says Hazel. They have an appointment with an ENT tomorrow.

The poop from the condo is that Bret dropped the price $20,000. Now he's calling all the brokers who have shown the place to tell them. Hopefully... hopefully...
Oh and this morning one of Gail's (formerly of Gail and Roger) caregivers was admiring the two dolls out. I said 'take one if you want it' and she said I will but I can't decide which. I said 'take both' and she did. She was quite delighted.
