I bought a top from a non-Amazon website that has non-friendly return policies. I knew going in that it was a gamble. The top fits and is comfortable and has pockets so I'll keep it but the design and construction does add about 20 pounds on to my already substantial frame. Whatever. I was resigned.

BUT today I got a very unsolicited email asking me to review in return for a coupon that is not viable for me (not enough off of too big a purchase expiring too soon). They will wish they hadn't. I gave them a star for pockets and another for comfort but slammed them on architecture. And then unsubscribed.

We got snow last night. Just a few flakes more than a dusting. But it's so cold still that nothing has melted.

I got my last tax document so now everything is CPA ready but no way am I venturing out until we see some melting. It's fine. They have a slot in the door so really getting it there sometime this weekend is the same as getting it there this afternoon. And many of their customers are likely in the same boat - getting their last docs today. But, if melting, I will pop them over today.

When I get up in the morning, the first thing I do is open my door. This tells TR that I am alive. Plus I check to see if there are any notes or messages and if Jim (across the hall) had gotten his paper in yet (most always, yes). Today I caught Joan delivering surprise 'anonymous' valentine's day candy. I am sorry I spoiled her anonymous. But, yum on the candy - two turtles.

The real estate tax bill came out today. $2,500 by April 30. Just what I expected. Nice not to be unhappily surprised there. Hopefully, this will be my last real estate tax bill ever. Please, please, please.
