Last night I watched the second to last episode of the last season of Banshee. Except, turns out, they made one less episode that season so I was watching the last episode. It was fine. I was done. And I enjoyed it all very much. Today I'm going to read through the Banshee sub reddit and get to know the bits that passed me by while I was watching. I found it a while ago but have been saving it for dessert.
Yesterday after aqua yoga, I was talking to Martha. She skipped elbow coffee on Saturday because she's missing Myrna like I am We came to the conclusion that between the way she left (here but not here while she was in hospital and rehab) and the 'occupation' of her insulting kids in her apartment, we neither one feel free to either mourn or move on or both. It's weird and it's depressing. She's had her own issues with Myrna's daughter and husband. We don't know how long they will be in the apartment but we agree that one day more is one day too many.
I am really jonesing for a trip to Goodwill. And a trip to Uwajimaya (a Japanese grocery that is very near the Seattle Goodwill). But, I really don't want to spend the money. I have to make my last Costco visit this week and I need Costco stuff and that won't be cheap. My membership expires in a week and a half.
Tonight we have a concert by a local men's chorus. They were here last year and their show was really wonderful. So I will go tonight, even though it does not start until 7 which is the equivalent of a midnight rave around here. I can sleep in tomorrow.
