I take 3 regular prescription drugs for blood pressure and chloesterol. They are generic and cheap (less than $15) and free with my insurance. Yesterday was the first time I'd gotten a prescription for them from my doctor and the first time I'd gotten them filled at Amazon. They have been for 90 days worth for years but now I'm getting an extra 10! Weird but ok. The process was smoooooooth. Email to doctor for request at 9 am (on a monday). Prescriptions showing on Amazon by 10. One was filled by 10:15 and I could have had it delivered last night. But the other two didn't get processed until last night. They will be here tomorrow. I don't need any of them until May so this is fine.

Not so fine is day 2 of the allergy pills. My nose was running like crazy yesterday afternoon. So after aqua yoga, I headed out to get the next trial. Loratadine. So far. So good. But, it's only been 3 hours.

To recap so far:

Cetirizine - works great but makes me sleepy
Fexofenadine - only worked for a day and a half but didn't make me sleepy

I'll probably go back to cetirizine if loratadine is a fail.

Meanwhile Biggie's got the sneezes. He sneezed all day yesterday and is at it again today. He's very perky and eating well so I'm thinking he just has a little kitty cold.

We were supposed to get great winds and rain last night. We got rain but Seattle got the wind and we really didn't. We're still dropping wifi now and again which is annoying but may not even be weather related. Sigh. At least we have electricity. It's wet but not even really that cold.

Yesterday when I went out for the allergy drug, I stopped by the poke place and got a bowl for dinner. Delicious. And half was plenty so now I have lunch all ready to eat. It's a nice, cheap meal that I need to remember to go get more often.

It's housecleaning day. So nice.

The only antihistamine that works for me is benadryl. Which is great when I have insomnia...but the antihistamine effect doesnt last into the day :(

Oh yeah we did get wind, and still are. This morning there was a tree down across 45th right in front of Dick's Drive-in. Wallingford traffic is madness.

I take my Cetirizine in the evening for that reason. Histamine effect seems to carry on through the day reasonably well for me.
