Yesterday morning I woke up with stomach cramps that mostly went away and I continued on with my day. I was very sleepy but I hadn't slept well and the allergy pills. I actually took a nap yesterday which I hate doing and happens only once a year or so. It didn't really help either. So finally, last night, I gave up and went to sleep at 8:15. And slept deliciously until 7:30 this morning! Also I think I finally got my blanket vs. temperature fixed and that helped.

A few years ago, before I did massive Google research, I used to take allergy pills when needed. Specifically centritizine which is why I had some on hand. Instead of taking one a day, I took one when my nose ran. I don't remember if that worked BUT it's going to be my new plan. My nose is fine now. So no pill.

A few weeks ago, I signed up for a Seattle Times subscription and got a better deal because I allowed them to drop me a physical copy of Sunday's paper. I now know the price of that special deal... phone. In order to cancel you have to call a phone number, climb a phone tree and then explain 42 times that you want to cancel. No, you don't want a special deal, yes, I did just start it a few weeks ago, yes, I am getting the paper, no, I don't want to reconsider, yes, I do want to cancel it, please. Yes, please. Thank you. done.

The last time I had digital only, $1 a week for six weeks. At the end, you could cancel online and when you hit cancel, you would get an option for another six weeks at $1. No phone call. Much much much better. I'll give that one another try in a week or two.

It's Friday and the end of February. We have one more week before Daylight Saving Time starts. Changes.

Tonight's menu has a special - surf and turf. Lobster and prime rib (and baked potato, asparagus, salad, etc) for $38. I have extra money in my account as usual so I ordered it. I'm sure it won't be amazing but it will be fun and interesting and I like to encourage fun and interesting.

No big plans for today. Same. Likely puzzling will be involved.

We have two large tables (dinner size) in our elbow. Bonny has a card table we've been using for spare puzzle pieces. With the new rules we need to put that card table away so yesterday, I moved all the puzzle pieces to one of the regular tables and retired the card table. It's just crowded but really no big deal. So far no one has said no puzzling and I doubt they will so all's cool.
