Laundry Day

The only thing on the agenda today is laundry. I'm fine with that. I have such antipathy towards pre-arranged people things. I don't mind running into people in the hallways and having to chat. And I purposefully go out to puzzle knowing I'll need to visit with random people. But, having to be somewhere at some time to do people makes me pissy lately. Which is ridiculous. I'm just picking nits, I think, because my life is fine.

Last night's thing for Myrna was also fine. Several people from other floors came up to join us and Ingrid-the-Annoyer was the only one from our section who was a no show. We shared Myrna stories a little but mostly just chatted. In the middle of it, Biggie came out. He wandered around the group staying on the floor and then I walked him home. They were all amused and he was satisfied.

While we were all there in the elbow, a construction guy came by and went into Myrna's unit. He was clearly measuring stuff and soon came out. She lived there for 7 years so there's lots of stuff they will be doing - probably new floors, new carpet, new appliances.

I may well pop out to do Amazon returns. I changed my mind on a couple of purchases and one was not perfect enough to keep so back they go. Gimme my money back, please.

Myrna had a fan club due to your posts. Many of us feel like we knew her and loved her. I am sorry for the loss of your dear friend. The gathering sounds like a nice way to honor Myrna's presence in your lives.
