Early morning manicure

susandennisBiggie caught his claw on my robe this morning so it was time. What used to be a massive ordeal for both of us is now so different. I pulled out his muzzle and the clippers and he hopped up into my lap. He does not mind the muzzle one bit and sits still for the first paw. He kind of squiggles for the second one but not very much and the whole thing takes less than 2 mins. Wild.
Biggie turns 5 on Monday. Who in the heck thought he'd ever live so long???
Julio gets no trims because he does his own on the scratching post. His latest obsession is the ancient auto laser pointer. It's so old it's yellowed with age. It makes a horrible noise and he loves it. It goes for 15 minutes and then stops and when it does, he hops up next to it and sits and stares at me to start it again. It's pretty hilarious. And Biggie just ignores them both.
I finished watching Paradise (Prime) last night. Part of me wants to give it no stars at all and part of me wants to give it 4 out of 5. I am glad I'm done with it, tho.
Today is Friday, new menu day and I need to plan. Monday is my last meal money day and I still have lots of $$ left. They have lamb chops on the menu this week. I had them last night and they were soooooo good. If nothing is fabulous on next week's menu, I may well just order 2 or 3 dinners tonight and freeze 'em. Planning.
I got another tax document in last night. Shit. I sent it to the CPA. I have been annoyed that she's taking so long but now I guess I'm glad she hasn't finished. She's going to be annoyed but it's her turn.
