susandennisYesterday was mostly Line of Duty and knitted monsters. A nice day. I puzzled for a bit and ran into Hazel who reports that John is now taking some medication that is not easy. She often gets her words mixed up so I have no idea what she's talking about but he's alive and still, likely driving her crazy. I may or may not have lunch with them today. I don't really want more details.
My frozen mushroom project worked out very well. I used to be able to buy frozen mushrooms but haven't found them now in years. It's a bit of a PIA to cook them and then flash them in the freezer and repackage but it is rather lovely to have non canned mushrooms to add to stuff. Next time I'll get a bigger basket of them.
SteveTheLawyer is, of course, not answering my calls. His regular office phone goes to an answerering machine only after 50000 rings and the message says leave a message in a manner that assures you no one will every hear said message. His mobile goes right to leave a message.
So it looks like this week's side hustle will be calling him every couple of hours. This will result in annoying me and not much else but it might be fun.
Ooops. Just got a note that the aqua yoga teacher is out sick so class is canceled. I'm not as bummed about that as I should be.
I have this pantry cabinet with four pull out shelves. I need to rearrange the shit on those shelves. AND I need to corral my wrapping stuff - plastic bags/plastic wrap/foil/parchment paper - and get it all in one place where I know what I have and can reach it.
That actually sounds like a good project for this morning.
So I think I'll get dressed, get exercised and do it.
