After paying the required $100-120 a month to otherwise useless streaming companies to be able to see the Mariners games in the past, finally, today, they announce a decent streaming deal. Single app (so phone, TV, tablet, wherever) streaming $20 a month.

Except, now they've lost their good TV broadcasters and the replacements are toxic. What would have been a heck of a deal in past years is way too expensive now for what you get.

Oh well. I'll probably still listen to parts of the games on the radio. Maybe.

Sigh.

Well, it might seem kind of redundant but you COULD watch the stream with the sound off and listen to the game on the radio.

If the situation out there is anything like it is in Boston, this leads to a somewhat disorienting experience as the TV tends to lag the radio by several seconds, sometimes so much that they're different by a whole pitch.
