susandennisMy realtor suggested another price cut and I said fine. I'd like to get more for it but, honestly, I'd really like for someone else to own it more. The website reflects the new price $549 this morning. He says that the other unit shows 0 showings. So far, I think he's shown mine to actual people at least once a week and sometimes more often.
There is an HOA meeting tonight which I'll probably turn on (Zoom). It does reinforce my gratitude for moving out. I loved living there but I am over it now. And I am so glad I did not take the smart route and wait to move until after I sold the condo.
Volleyball was better today. We had more people. It still might die but not today.
While Myrna was here, we fell into eating lunch every day with Hazel and John and it was good and fun and a great part of my day. Without Myrna, it did not work as well. It became a burden - do I go and kill the hour and a half it takes listening to their same stories over and over again - or do I come up with a new excuse today. Finally last week, I told them I was going to take lunches off for the week and do dinners. Which I actually did. I got take out dinner every night and it was pretty excellent. The food was good and it was a good excuse to get off my butt and take a nice long walk at the end of the afternoon.
I wasn't sure what their expectations were this week. But, it turns out, the lunch switch has remained off. Whew. I like having more hours in the day. When I get money, I plan to use them at Goodwill and Safeway and other fun places.
I'm coming up on crossroads with my hair. Several months ago, I cut too much and had to resort to a buzz cut but now it's grown out to a decision point. Buzz it or grow it? I have to say the buzz cut looks weird but intentional and it sure is easy to live with. That easy to live with bit may well make it the winner.
Today is house cleaning day. Always such a joy.
