SteveTheLawyer liquidated two of my cousin's investment accounts earlier last week. And thankgod he didn't wait until Friday. Here's the chart of my own investment account. That big downward line is yesterday.

That line will go back up for my accounts but it's easy to see how much we would have lost if he had waited until Friday to cash out. He got the check - at least one of them, maybe both - and deposited the money in the bank and then, according to an email he sent, was shocked that the bank put a hold on the funds until Tuesday. It's clear to me that most all the problems with getting the trust settled have been because he really is clueless. Wonder how he graduated from law school.

So now he has the money and Tuesday it will be available. When he will send it to us is still very much a question mark.

Julio has taken a shine to lamps. He's knocked over one table lamp repeatedly. And he's determined to ruin one of my floor lamps. So it was time for a new toy. I got him this one mainly because it was on sale. They had one like it that got downsized when we moved because they neither one paid a bit of attention to it. But, this one... they LOVE. Both of them. It's also way better than the old one. If they run by it, it will start on its own or I can press the button. And it has a tiny mouse noise.

When I went to bed last night, I plugged it in to charge it and put it out of sight. Julio saw where I put it and, after breakfast, went right there and sat and stared at me until I pulled it out. Biggie tries to pretend he is above such childish pursuits but then digs in to chase it. Totally worth the $25. (Sayeth the lamps!)

No volleyball today and the sun is out so no swimming either. But, I gotta do something so walking it is. Yesterday I sat like a lump all damn day knitting bunnies. The problem with baseball season is that you get into a game and can't leave it. And the problem with not following only one team is that there is always a game you can't leave. That's my current excuse anyway.

But, as soon as I finish this, I'm going to get dressed make the bed and hit the road/hallway so I get in a good walk before elbow coffee.

OMG. Julio just walked up to the toy and pressed the button!!

That toy looks amazing. And it’s down to $24! Now that it’s warmer, my Ella is spending even more time out in our high fenced backyard, so she’s not bored or destructive, but I bet this would make her happy next winter.

I hate to say this, because I’m ADHD (diagnosed), but a friend of mine kept failing the bar (like, 5 times), but was able to pass once he was diagnosed ADHD and given accommodations. So, now he’s a drunk driving lawyer, who has tons of complaints by clients, and even had his license revoked for several years (I’ve heard he’s recently gotten it back).

Not saying that’s the case with your lawyer, but… just a reminder, that, yeah, there are always a few students who were at the bottom of their class

Bunnies.
