For the love of the toy

susandennisThis morning, Julio just sat next to the ottoman where the new toy charges overnight. I got it out and turned it on and they have both been playing with it since. Or just taking turns watching it. These two photos were taken about 15 minutes apart this morning.
Nothing new to report. Yesterday was a lovely day of knitting and baseball and today will likely be the same but toss in some aqua yoga this afternoon.
I have a TV in the bedroom which I never. Ever. Turn on. Last year, when I was watching Mariner games, I sometimes turned it on to see the last few innings but, honestly, not that often. It's a nice, small size and a perfectly fine TV, but I just don't use it. I do, not often but sometimes, want a fan in there, blowing on me while I sleep. I have a fan, but it is butt ugly and loud. So I have my eyes on this one. I think I'll put the TV under the bed or in the closet. And put the fan on the dresser. It might not work but... it might. It also might be too big. So I might have to go with this one instead and I think it will be too small. What I really want is a ceiling fan but that's not allowed.
A few months ago, I moved all my summer/notwornoften clothes to the storage unit. I think it's time for another clothing purge. I don't have a lot of strictly seasonal clothes. Most are year round. And, honestly, my closet is big - it's the biggest closet I've ever had. There is NO way I need to own so many clothes that they cannot all easily fit in that big closet. I don't need heavy stuff. I don't need light stuff. I live in a controlled environment, forchristsakes. Nobody's memory, around here, is good enough to remember what I wore week before last. So I don't even need more than two weeks worth of outfits. I need to remember this next time I get the itch to buy an article of clothing.
I used to know someone, I don't even remember who, who had a set number of hangers that was law. If she added anything to her closet, she had to remove something to keep the hanger number. That's what I need to do.
But, probably not today.
