susandennisI'm quite excited about the prospect of finally being out from under this condo. No more news yet today but it's also not quite 8 am so a bit early yet. But I let my mind wander now about not paying any more property tax, about when/if/how Seattle Public Library will cut me off, about not paying any more HOA fees, etc.
Earliest we would close would be end of May so there's still a while even if it is a real thing.
I did go to FedEx yesterday. They wanted $18 plus tax to ship my 1 pound package. I asked several times if that was the cheapest and he said yeah. Their flat rate shipping prices on their website show cheaper. But, I just told him no thank you. And then I went across the street to UPS where I'm in and out all the time and should have gone in the first place. He measured and weighed and told me $16. I said great. The actual charge was $15.02. Anyway it's done.
I meant to stop at Safeway on the way home and pick up tortillas. Oh well. I have enough to get me through Saturday so plenty of time.
Oh, I found a fun new little series on Netflix. North of North. I was two episodes in when I saw in TV news that it had been renewed for another season. Sweet.
Nothing but the usual on tap today. Lovely.
