My latest and greatest pet peeve is people who assume I do not have access, do not know how to use it and would not use it before asking any question looking for information. For the record. I do have access. I do know how to use it - been using it regularly since its inception. And it is my 1-19th choice for information - way way way before asking someone.
Next up. People who insist on calling me to tell me what they already sent me in email (which I already knew because of a previous email they sent) and then ending the totally unneeded call with 'I'll text you once I send the email so you'll know'.
This latter is my hapless realtor. I think he'd rather talk on the phone than anything else in the whole world and 99% of the time it is to tell me what he just sent in an email. I'll be so glad when he is my ex-realtor.
And... that may be SOON!!
Both offers came in. Random Tech Guy who now is renting in the apartment building across the street, offered up $34,000 less than asking contingent on the usual inspection, etc.
Paul, the good guy neighbor, offered up full asking price... CASH!... so no appraisal. Closing May 30th or sooner. Bret says that they will have their money this week so closing could be way sooner.
Signing real estate stuff is so much easier online. 87 places needed initials and 4 or 5 needed signature. It's been a while since I've done all that and it was all post-it notes and paper 30 years ago.
