I've been busy all morning and I just popped over to the deli for my very favorite General Tso's Chicken. It's so hard to appreciate it in hot weather. Today it was delicious.

They are cleaning the carpets in the hallway today and for $175 I could have had them swing in here and clean this carpet but it's just not that dirty! So, instead, I decided it was time to get one of those little handheld spot wet cleaners. Bissell has several that I've been kind of looking at for a while. I wanted something easy. Something I could grab quickly and didn't have to fuck with before use. Something that I had a handy place to store. Oh and I didn't want to spend a fortune. I'm not trying to clean the carpet. I'm just trying to eliminate the occasional spot.

After much online research I finally settled on the Bissell Spotlifter 2X. The best price I could find was $39.99 but I could not find a place where I didn't have to pay taxes and shipping. I'm ok with one but both seemed excessive. So this morning, I hopped into the car and went to Target and bought one! A very non-susandennis thing to do but by dern, I did it. Of course, it now has to charge for 12 hours so I haven't a clue how it works BUT it does fit nicely under the sink in the kitchen.

The other day I was musing about my tracking information from Futjitsu not giving me enough detail. Well, yesterday I got three of the items. Two of them were in one UPS box. The third one was in one FedEx box. The UPS and the FedEx boxes were EXACTLY the same size and came from the same place. Isn't that interesting? The actually LifeBook is coming from Osaka. I hope quickly. Probably via DHL.

kjaz, yesterday I heard Rosie O'Donnell call Project Runway Kayle the 'gay Opie'. How dead on is that??

I have come to dread and loathe that stupid yellow shield that that Microsoft plops into my systray whenever they feel like it. It means that their friggin updates will mean I will either need to reboot my machine OR suffer the very annoying reminders until I do. I sure hope Vista has a better way of dealing but something tells me it will be even more annoying.

Ok, back to work for me.

I so hope you are right. I'm tired of him. But, Michael has to win, doesn't he? He really reminds me of someone - either someone famous or someone I know. Rosie thinks he's the winner, too.
