I think I may have used up all my good karma today. I hope not but I sure did get more than my fair share.

My new toy arrived about noon and work has been fairly quiet all afternoon enabling me to play. I do with Microsoft would just combine its 894 security messages down to:

"Congratulations on your new computer. Since our shit is so not together, we are going to proceed to eat up your entire first day by making you download and install updates serially. Once you get 4 or 5 done and reboot, we'll have more for you. And once you get those done and reboot, we'll have more for you... In fact, seeing as how you are already 57 years old, you can pretty much count on being done about the same day your first social security check arrives. Yeah we could do them all at once but, heck, what fun would that be???Enjoy! And thanks for buying a Microsoft Windows computer!!"

I think I may have it pretty well set up. I have one AVG snag. My SoHo license key won't work. I can swing on the trial version until they answer my email.

I haven't played with the tablet part yet. That's probably next. Maybe a handwritten LJ entry!

The next release:
" and and "" security enhancement dialogs when you attempt to install your applications. But like the guru from the marketing mountain said, ''

Would you like a cup of mango punch?

Sorry in advance for the formidable disk space requirements. And bringing your computer to its knees. The 105% more bling comes at a price. But the Apollo 13 clip playing in an application with a translucent menu bar is pretty cool, huh?

Enjoy! And thanks for buying a Microsoft Windows computer!!
