It has been a no lunch day. I have at least one more thing to go but I'm waiting on a call for it. And then I think I'm taking the night off. I enjoyed last night.

I watched:

The Megan Mullally Show: I nearly made it through the entire show but not quite. Off the list.
The Class: So far my favorite new show. I laughed out loud in more than a few places. Suicide guy kept me cacklin'
Studio 60: Just as good as expected - maybe actually better.

Ok, now my call has come in. Dinner is in the oven. Things are under control.

We decided to give several of the new shows a try, with the result that TV is piling up much faster than we can watch it (since we still waste our time watching Red Sox games). So far: Studio 60 is a keeper; Justice, probably not, but we'll give it another couple of episodes. Smith, Brothers and Sisters, and The Nine are all in the queue; I'm guessing we won't like all of them -- I certainly hope not. House, ER, and Numb3rs have all started up (or are about to start) now, and there continue to be episodes of Mystery and New Tricks that we probably haven't seen.

There are some long winter nights ahead.

Watched the first episode of Smith tonight. Not ready to dump it yet, although it's no Line of Fire, which I thought was really good.

Isn't it amazing!? I was not expecting to like Studio 60 this much.

I, on the other hand, expected to like it a whole lot, and so far I think I do. I hope I can get the characters sorted out. If I ruled the world, all TV drama opening credits would pair the actors' names with their faces, not just some of them.

As I said elsewhere, it's very Sorkinesque.
