Fun times report
Sep. 29th, 2006 07:26 amScott and Julie and I have been at it full steam ahead. Yesterday was shopping. We went to the middle of town and in and out of lots of stores while we chatted and visited along the way. We had items we were specifically looking for and we didn't really care if we found - just kind of penalty-free goals. We crawled all over Pike Place Market and then through more of town and then down to the waterfront and then through Pioneer Square.
We came home exhausted and did more visiting while we sat around and vegged. We watched Katie Curic and then John Stewart. They fully appreciated the juxtaposition. Oh and I had a couple of HGTV's National Open House shows recorded and they got a kick out of seeing different houses in different parts of the country in different price ranges.
Julie got some fake Crocs like mine at Payless. Oh and parenthetically, of all the stores we were in and out of yesterday - high and low end - the clerk at Payless was the nicest, the smartest, the sharpest, the most attentive and the most fun of any! She was a trip and a half and the highlight of our day. The kid at Shaper Image hopefully will read the store name and take it to heart.
Today Julie wants to see a grocery store - I think we'll do the giant Fred Meyers near Ballard cause she also wants a used bookstore and there's a Twice Sold Tales there.
Ok, my guests are getting up. More later. I have been able to kind of keep up. I'm so sorry to hear about Chelsa,
henare and what fun to see your picture,
teasdale. Thanks to all of you for keeping me up on your life tidbits!!
