Oh and I think I broke Kmart

I ordered some stuff form the Kmart website last Sunday. I went to check on it this morning and there's no website. And it's still not there. At least not for me on any of my computers. http://www.kmart.com Sears works. Kmart Australia works. http://www.bluelight.com doesn't. It wasn't great but I still feel badly that I killed it.

New news! I did not kill Kmart! pookfreak gave it a spin and hit pay dirt. I couldn't bring it up on anything. Finally I pulled out my cellphone and hooked it up as a modem and bingo! There it is! And my package has been shipped UPS and will be here Tuesday.

I really have to reinstall the OS on this desktop - it's the one that drives the network and clearly at least one of its wheels has come off. Geesh!

Newer news! I still had the DNS assigned to the Universal IP's. Criminey! Switched it to 'find it yourself' and there was Kmart. I'm a computeridiot.

Oh interesting!! Did you try http://www.kmart.com? When I go to http://www.kmart.com/home.jsp I get 'page not found'. maybe it's just my computer is pissed at Kmart. Interesting. Thanks for letting me know!

Same thing I go to http://www.kmart.com and I get to http://www.kmart.com/home.jsp.

Why don't you try clearing your cache and history - I've had similar things happen and by clearing the cache and history I've been able to reach the site again.

oh this problem is way beyond cache and history. it needs serious surgery and I'm just too freakin' lazy and now that I have it fixed again, I'll probably let it go until it breaks again... or vista comes out and my new computer arrives.

I've never ever ever thought of buying anything from K-Mart off of the web. It never even occured to me they had a site.

You're not so much green as In The World... you get out of the house... you go to real stores. We of the Lazy Ass go all the way from the couch to the desk chair (unless we have the laptop in which case we don't move at all) to shop.
