Ahhh Sunday

susandennisI had a list of stuff to do today and I did nearly none of it. Instead I did other stuff on a list that I just hadn't made yet.
I was going to reinstall Windows XP on this machine but today just didn't seem like the day. So I made breakfast burritos instead. I've been trotting over to the good sushi place but theirs are two big, don't have salt and I have to walk and wait to get them and they cost $3.60. So I studied (internet, of course) how to roll a decent burrito and tried it for breakfast. Nailed it.
So I scrambled up a bunch of eggs and bacon and set up an assembly line and I now have 6 breakfast burritos in the freezer just ready for their designated day. They have salt (and pepper) and they aren't too big and the walk and wait are both shorter and I'm guessing they cost me about $.90 each.
Then I sat down to do some work work. A lot of my work comes in the forms of bugs which are just kind of notices to do this or that. I have a little app that sits on my desktop and tells me how many of these bugs are waiting for me. On Friday I had 5. I looked at all of them briefly and non looked like show stoppers.
Usually it's 'add this blurb to this page on this website and use this graphic' or 'move this page to here and add links to these 4 pages'. I mean not a big deal. Occasionally, it will be 'build these 5 new pages' but even that is not huge. Today, however, I polished off 1-4 and then opened 5. 'Add this last faq to the page...' ok, no biggie. It's in a word doc and I open up the doc and the sucker is a 12 page table of mainly developer gobbldy gook. Yikes on a stick. Took me about an hour and a half more than the half hour I figured it would. But, it's done and it's beautimous and it's billable.
The laundry is laundrying and I'm giving serious thot to watching the movie.
