Thunder and lightening!
Nov. 11th, 2006 05:11 pmI thought I saw a flash of light outside. I went back to my knitting. There it was again. Back to knitting.
BIG flash and then - fairly quickly - LOUD boom. Betty, who had been keeping my feet warm raced to see if there was something in the other end of the house (like under the bed) that needed her attention right this minute.
We rarely have thunderstorms. It's actually quite a surprise. One treat is to hear the TV news reporters report on it. They will invariably report about the thunder causing damage to trees or the noise form the lightening being startling. And it never fails to amuse me.
