Errand done.  And a good thing I gave it a Saturday try.  In addition to the regular traffic they have 3 of the surrounding streets torn up for installing light rail.   Even on Saturday morning when I was practically the only one on the road it was a bitch to get to.  But, I did an all is good.

PLUS I found a bunch of CD's that I had been looking for.  The buggers were in the trunk of the car.  The missing lotion is still missing but that's my fault. It's good lotion and expensive and so I know I put it some place special.  It's in a small skirt bottle meant for a cheap lotion.  I do have visions of someone going through my things after I die and finally finding it and then going to store to try and get some more and being totally disappointed.  Ya get yer grins where you can.

A guy who had been a lawyer at Microsoft for about 6 months was killed this week in a bizarre accident that has consumed the news (since we're done with floods for the moment).  This morning's paper reports that he graduated from the same obscure college that I did.  In nearly 35 years, it is the first time I have ever heard of or read about anyone graduating from the place. The college.  The bizarre accident.

Well, that's bizarre. I apparently had the wrong thing in my copy-and-paste buffer, and didn't even notice, thereby producing a quotation from a completely different journal, and a total non sequitur.

What I meant to quote was:
