My bugs finally came in - smallish changes to about 14 different web pages.  Knocked them out in a couple of hours.  I'm sure that will be it until Monday and probably Monday afternoon.   And then, probably, it will be heads down for me for several weeks.  Fine by me. I'll be right and ready!!

I was thinking about taking a stroll over to the International District to pick up some dinner or a ride to McDonalds or the teryaki place but...  I have a freezer full of food and plenty of time for prep so I think I'll do a little stash reduction.

I have lots of TiVo saved up including four hours of the last Prime Suspect.  I may save that for Christmas but maybe not. 

I did finish watching the second Disc of Big Love.  I'm not totally solidly hooked.

Hah! I am trying to eat some space in my fridge. One or two portions each of plenty of things. Time to go shopping tomorrow for the next cooking extravaganza. But tonight being friday is either the nabe bbq or going out.

A few weeks ago maybe you wrote about being very independent and not needing or wanting to be beholden to anyone. I am envious--I'd really like to have someone, and don't. Or to not need someone, as seems to be your case. Unfortunately the one I want is difficult and ambivalent. We spend a nice weekend, then he goes and hides the next week two weeks. So.

In my very really very infrequent intraspective moments, I wonder if I did not build up my life of independance as a gigantic shield against exactly the situation you describe. Just counting on people is sometimes so disappointing. You do have my sympathies.

And on the freezer front... there's been this big Stouffer's box that I've been moving around to get to other stuff for weeks now. Tonight, for dinner, I solved the problem :)
