susandennisWe did get a chair - yahoo!!! As I dragged Mom back to one of the furniture stores today she said 'I haven't had this much activity on forever.' But she added that it was a good thing. And she really held up well. To get the chair in the fabric we needed we had to order it and it won't be ready until January but I think she's really glad we got it. She kept saying tonight that she sure wished she had it so she could put her feet up.
Next, TIVO. The VCR is just too much trouble for her. And since it generally takes about 18 months to go from zero to done, I figure TIVO's will be really cheap in a year and a half!!
I'm thinking about dumping my IPAQ. It holds all of my contacts, which is handy and I do use and my games which I enjoy and is there if I need it for other stuff. But, since it is no longer a viable option for email and the internet, and I can play games on my phone, I'm thinking of finding an easier way to haul around my contacts (an old fashioned paper address book maybe??)... We'll see.
My webcam check tonight found Sherry and her Mom having a beer and entertaining Betty on my couch. It's so cool to see living going on in my own living room. Plus, I am so glad they are drinking the beer cause it was getting some serious age on it.
I hate to get sappy but I am very thankful for LJ and all my LJ friends. You keep me inspired, interested, amused, sane and very grateful to be one of you.
